The Campanile is one of over 300 hotels belonging to the French group, therefore guests who have used the company before will know what to expect as the Campanile aims to make their hotels alike, maintaining the same type of decorations and service quality. In addition the Campanile Krakow offers perfect location for a reasonable price.
The hotel's location allows to visit Krakow till late or spend an evening in one of cafés on The Old Town which is 5 minutes away from the hotel and come back on foot safely even in the middle of the night.
It is possible to arrange a training for organized groups or a small conference in one of four prepared for that purpose rooms.
Rooms
Before booking a room at the Campanile you have to know that although the rooms are spacious they are modestly furnished. It may be a matter of small number of furniture however some rooms seem rather empty and a little rearrangement could make the rooms more attractive.
One wardrobe more … - and the guests would have no reason to complaint for a clean and functional interior.
There are 105 double and twin rooms and only one suite. Each room offers: radio, TV-Sat, with Canal+ channels, telephone, a desk and modem Internet access. Although it is only a 2 star hotel, air conditioning is a standard feature at the Campanile.
When entering the rooms, you will find a hot drinks set ready to make some coffee or tea accompanied with biscuits.
The rooms are very similar, the only differences are made by a number of beds or a view. You need to decide if you prefer the Planty park view and a distant, sometimes noisy street or unattractive back yard. I would choose the one with trees and Planty paths view.
There is the option for a smoking or non-smoking room, a lift and disabled access offered in some of the rooms.
Restaurant
The hotel's restaurant or rather a café is really spacious, however offers cozy atmosphere and true hospitality, you would be positively impressed. You can see the Planty park paths through the café's windows. It is a particularly nice view when the trees are covered with rich verdure and flowers begin to blossom.
A fire-place makes an exceptional atmosphere of the café. During the winter season you can relax on the sofas by the fire-place. For those who prefer to spend their time watching television, there is also a plasma TV fixed under the ceiling.
Coffee and delicious desserts are the café's specialty. You will find some dishes from international cuisine at average city centre prices.
As there are plenty of restaurants and bars around, I recommend taking advantage of the perfect location of the hotel and have a meal in one of the Krakow's many restaurants.
Conference rooms
The hotel offers four conference rooms with a total surface of 180 meters square for the purpose of training groups. They can accommodate 10 to 45 people according their layout. In addition three of them are connected with removable partition walls so it is possible to adapt the area to specific needs of the company. The conference rooms are all equipped with foil projector, flip chart, video, television set, projection screen, audio equipment. Some other accessories can be provided at additional charge.
The hotel's café can professionally arrange coffee breaks, lunches or evening events.
