The Dom Casimi is a renovated tenement house, where each room is different. There is nothing stereotypical about this unique hotel. The hotel's owners are enthusiastic collectors of ancient furniture and objects. If they manage to find something interesting, they decorate other rooms or improve existing decorations to create an individual character.
If you intend to visit the Kazimierz district, the hotel's location is perfect - Szeroka street is situated in the heart of the former Jewish district. The hotel is surrounded by synagogues, historic houses, and is soaked with an exceptional atmosphere. During the Jewish Culture Days which take place in June this place is in the middle of cultural events, it is also an excellent place for meetings and evening relaxation in the cafés gardens brightened by candle lights.
Tranquility, simplicity, passion and a warm, homely interior is what you would find at the Dom Casimi. Beautiful pictures decorating the hotel walls were taken by the owner.
A perfect place for tourists, who travel to see different faces of Krakow and spend the evenings in pubs or discovering the city. Another advantage is that the hotel is located a few minutes walk from Wawel and The Old Town. Spacious suites would be the best choice for families with children.

Rooms

The hotel is small, newly open, which gives you a quiet, private, elite atmosphere. Among 12 rooms there are standard, standard plus, luxurious rooms and suites. They can accommodate 1 - 4 people with en extra cot on request.
Each room has its own bathroom with shower and is also equipped with TV set. The rooms contain beautiful antic furniture, large wooden wardrobes collected by the hotel's owners. Standard plus and suites are overlooking the small square formed by Szeroka street and the Remuh synagogue.
The quadruple room has a completely different style from other rooms, its interior is modestly furnished in an Ikea styled design. However it has its own hall and a part of the room forms a small dinning-area. Four friends can stay there for a reasonable price.
If you hesitate between a suite for two and a suite for three, we can recommend the first.
The hotel is unable to accommodate disabled people, there is no lift, many stairs and the rooms are not equipped for those who require special needs.
Smoking is officially prohibited in the hotel.
There is a free Internet access for the hotel's guests.

Restaurant

In the same building there is the Indian restaurant "Bombai Tandoor" where you can have breakfast and the hotel's guests have 10% discount for a lunch. If you like vegetarian meal, there is the place where you can begin your Indian journey, fragrant with ginger and curcuma. The restaurant propose healthy Hindu way of eating meat - that means small quantities of meat mixed with vegetables or fruit is the principle of preparing meals in the restaurant.
Crispy potato-vegetable chop as a starter accompanied with chicken chest poured with Bhuna sauce with onions, peppers and yoghurt drink would satisfy any hanger.
When staying at the Dom Casimi, you would be surrounded by small restaurants, cafés, pubs. If you would like to have something simple such as a tomato soup and a pork chop, you can just drop in to one of surrounding restaurants and choose what you would like to have.
