Positive aspects:
The hotel had not been our first choice as the Hotel Alexander had no vacancies at the time. I can say however that we enjoyed our stay at the Floryan and would use it again if we return to Krakow. I cannot comment on whether there was more than one standard of room as we specificaly requested a first floor room. The room however was clean and spacious with a very adequate ensuite. It was a benefit to be able to open the window and let in fresh air as the local temperatures were quite ward at the time. The hotel's proximity to the main square was a definite benefit

Negative aspects:
* Getting cases up to and down from the room was a little difficult as the stairs are quite awkward. * The linen could be upgraded. * The breakfast was not inspiring

Positive aspects:
Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Floryan war sehr angenehm. Das fing schon bei der Ankunft an, als die Chefrezeptionistin äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich empfing, dies in fließendem Englisch und perfektem Deutsch tat zudem viele interessante Tips zwecks Besichtigung der Stadt gab.Das schöne, große Zimmer, dass zudem sehr angenehm ruhig und in bestem Zustand war, hat des weiteren den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestaltet.

Positive aspects:
Zimmer sauber, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zentrale Lage des Hotels. Frühstücksangebot war ok.

Negative aspects:
Im Restauran (Frühstücksraum bzw Pizzeria) war es sehr unangenehm, wenn die Gäste ihre Stühle bewegten. Beim Schieben/Austehen machten die Holzstühle ein unangenehmes quietschendes Geräusch auf den Bodenfliesen. Mit ein paar Filzgleitern wäre Abhilfe zu schaffen.

Had a beautiful room at the top of the hotel, very light and area with lots of space. Located right in the heart of old Krakow

Negative aspects:
No lift and a steep climb to the third floor, then down to the basement for breakfast

the hotel is ideally situated; the staff is very friendly and helpful; the room on the top floor is very cosy and very nicely furnished

Negative aspects:
there was a problem with the air condition causing quite a noise which the staff tried to solve immediately
