The Niebieski Hotel ("Blue") is not only the hotel's name but it also has different shades of the color decorating the hotel's interior and symbolizing murmuring water of the Vistula River. The hotel deserves a good 3 star rate with its service while its attractive location, the rooms and restaurant decorations increase the rate to 4 stars.
From the very beginning you are surrounded by blue and green motives which create quiet almost sweet atmosphere, a stay at the hotel is a guarantee of tranquility and peaceful walks along river's boulevard.
There is room for improvement as the hotel has no lift and some rooms are really small - on the other hand if they are larger they could not have the same cozy character. Also, the breakfast room is situated next to the reception and that can be disturbing especially at check out time. The hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful.
Individual tourists will enjoy the stay. There is no meeting room and no conference equipment, therefore it will not be a place for business meetings.

Rooms

The hotel's interior will be a nice surprise; you would be enchanted by colors, warm cozy atmosphere and functionality. "Niebieski" hotel offers double rooms, a single and one suite. We recommend the rooms with a balcony and view of the Vistula river, otherwise you will have a less attractive room on a busy street side.
Not only it is very cozy but also well equipped - each room contains a mini-bar, satellite TV, radio, telephone and a bathroom with floor heating. Low ceiling and wooden beams in some of the rooms - this is the beauty and character of the interior and a trap for your head.
Beautiful logs that support the ceiling and flowers in each room are elements that make you feel like the owners planned - secure and close to nature.
No elevator and many stairs don't make things easy, if you have heavy luggage or if you are disabled.
Some of the rooms are non-smoking but because of the hotel's size the non-smoking rule is not enforced.

Restaurant

The hotel has its own breakfast area (personally I consider it very beautiful, unfortunately it is located by the reception), café with fire-place and piano as well as masterly designed restaurant.
The cellar restaurant "Il Fresco" interior is unforgettable. The restaurant's designer perfectly knew what the hotel's guests would need to relax while having a meal. It's difficult to say what is better - served dishes or atmosphere and what you see around. The walls are decorated with frescos and paintings by the restaurant designer, piano music in the background setting of the mood. It's an excellent place for a romantic dinner; candle light, fire-place and a lot of other details that make an exceptional atmosphere, it's a strong quality of the Niebieski.
In the summer season you can go to a wine garden and delight with drinks as well as the hotel chef's specialties.
The menu contains traditional Polish cuisine and some Mediterranean dishes. The prices are moderate, for a little bit more than 30 PLN you can have a "duck of Galicia with honey and apples".
