The "Saski" Hotel is a three-star hotel located right in the center of Krakow, in the tenement house from the 17th century.
The building used to be a property of an evangelic church till the beginning of the 19th century, when a Hungarian – Maciej Kontz had bought it. He renovated the building and opened an inn with the name of "Hungarian King Inn". Throughout the following years Kontz bought the neighboring buildings including the one at 3 Slawkowska Street where the entrance to the hotel is located nowadays. The city chronicles state that the first foreign guest visited the hotel in 1820. Many prominent guests have stayed in Saski, Ignacy Paderewski and Stefan ¯eromski enjoyed their journey to Krakow staying in the Saski Hotel. There were also concerts of such famous composers such as Liszt or Brahms. Nowadays, thanks to its rich history, very nice interiors and reasonable prices "Saski" is very popular among tourists and business guests.
There will be no problem with the communication in Polish, English and German in the hotel.

Rooms

When entering the hotel you see a yellow lobby with a little shop and a reception desk that are neat and clean, there are some armchairs and some interesting furniture, all in all it is a regular lobby of a three star hotel. There are 43 rooms in the Saski Hotel, including 4 single rooms, 34 double/twin rooms and 8 triples. The rooms are first of all nicely arranged. The colors of the bed sheets match the colors of the curtains. The carpets are soft and clean. The desk is a comfortable place to work. Bathrooms in the Saski Hotel are of e medium size with a bath-tube or shower cabin. In all the rooms there is a telephone, a radio and a TV-set with sat-tv.
There are also 10 stylish "Junior" and "Senior" suites prepared for the guests. The paintings on the walls, stylish beds and furniture, fresh flowers and mirrors both in the bedroom and the living room add to the character of the suites. In some of the suites there is place for three guests.

Apart from that, the hotel meets the expectations of the guests who prioritize the financial comfort. There are rooms without the bathrooms, with the washbasins only, which are booked at promotional prices. All of those rooms are equipped with single beds (there are singles and twins). There are modern bathrooms at the guests’ disposal in the corridor.

Restaurant

There is a quiet Metropolitan Restaurant in the Saski Hotel full of modern forms and comfortable furniture. After having entered the restaurant it seems like you can leave all world outside and simply enjoy a meal or a drink.
The room the restaurant is located in is arranged in a wood. Modern, wooden furniture and comfortable chairs will make a dinner or an evening a pleasant experience. Half round ceiling makes the place cozy and the smiling bar tender will make you not want to leave.
At 7:30 am the breakfast is served. You can choose between continental, American or English breakfast. However you choose it, it will surely give you strength for the rest of the day.
At 12:00 am the guests come for lunch. A huge pressure is put on time and the meals are served as quickly as possible without lowering their quality. That is how the restaurant shows that your time is precious and the staff is aware of it.
At 6:00 pm a real celebration begins. The restaurant offers excellent dishes from the French and Italian cuisine. The breast of chicken filled with goat cheese served on a bed of spinach with a Buerre Blanc sauce is what made my day in Krakow. The Metropolitan’s Cr?me Brulee and a glass of an excellent wine from Argentina made my delight complete.
The Metropolitan Bar offers a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and will serve the best Irish coffee on a cold winter evening and the coldest margarita during hot summer.

Conference rooms

There is one conference room in the Saski Hotel prepared for 30 people. The room is arranged in a stylish way. The equipment of the conference room should be sufficient for any kind of business meeting and includes a computer with a direct Internet connection, a flipchart, a projector and a screen necessary for presentations.
An organizer of a business meeting is welcome to use the catering service offer of the Metropolitan Restaurant in the hotel.

Additional Services

There is a hotel parking space nearby the hotel where the cars are allowed to park for up to 30 minutes to take the baggage to the hotel. The guests traveling by car are free to use the parking zones a few streets away from the hotel.
