Positive aspects:
Room was nice and clean, shared bathroom also. Staff very helpful, helped to carry our bags up a couple of flights of stairs as we were staying in the second building which does not have a elevator. Even though the hostel did not have the reservation luckily there was a room available to be booked on the spot, and the staff were very helpful and were going to deal with the booking agency re not getting the booking. It was nice to have access to the small kitchen with cups, plates, a kettle and coffee and tea. Very close to the main square (5 min walk), and walking distance (30 min) to Wawel. Basic breakfast in a nicely decorated dining room. It was also great to have internet included.

Negative aspects:
No elevator in the building we were staying at. The dishes and cutlery in the kitchenette were not cleaned well enough, had to wash before and after use.
